Flows Overview - How to create Onboarding and On Demand Flows

What are Flows?

Flows are automated steps or sequences for your contacts that you can use to have your client/contacts complete certain forms, agree to terms, upload files etc. 

Flows are of two types

  • .On-Demand
  • Onboarding

On-Demand Flows: On-Demand Flows can be completed by the clients anytime, depending on the requirements. All

On-Demand Flows are available in the Client Portal, and they can complete them anytime. 

Onboarding Flow: Onboarding Flows must be completed by the clients before they can access their dashboard. 

Components of Flows

There are two components of Flows.

  • Steps Sequence
  • Actions 

Steps and Sequence

Steps Sequence consists of the steps you want your client/contact to complete. 

1. Read & Sign

Use this If you want your Client to agree on some terms and accept them before accessing the dashboard. 

2. Content Embed

If you want to embed some text, images etc, on the step. 

3. File Upload

If you want your Client to upload some files. You will have to choose the folder of the file manager where you want these files to go. 

4. File Download

If you want your Client to download a file before getting started. 

5. Form Embed

If you want your Client to submit a form before getting started. You can choose a form to embed, and it will be shown to the contacts to complete and submit. 

Actions

Actions will be performed when the contact completes the flows or all the steps. You can add multiple actions you want Agiled to perform after the Flow is completed by your client. 

Please note that all of these actions will be completed immediately after the Flow is completed by a customer. 

How to create a new Flow?

To create a new Flow, please follow the below steps. 

  1. From the navigation menu, click Automations > Flows.
  2. It will take you to the Flows page, where you will see all of your current Flows.
  3. To create a new Flow, click the Plus Button. 
  4. On the Flow Creation Page, set the Name, Type of the Flow. 
  5. Also, choose if you want to create this Flow for a specific client or all the clients. 
  6. Once done, it's time to create the steps. 
  7. Click on Add New Step and configure it as desired. 
  8. Once done, under actions, you can add a series of actions you want Agiled to take after all the steps of Flow have been completed by your client. The actions you add here will be performed immediately after the Flow is completed.  
  9. Click on Add Flow to save the Flow. 

How to see submissions for the Flow?

To see the submissions for a flow, 

  1. From the navigation menu, click Automations > Flows.
  2. It will take you to the Flows page, where all your Flows will be listed. 
  3. To see submissions, click the three dots menu for the Flow and click submissions.
  4. This will take you to the submissions page, where all the submissions of the Flow will be listed.
