What is a Workflow?

Workflow is a series of automated steps like sending an invoice, form, or email. Agiled will run all the steps for you when you apply a Workflow to a Project.

Workflows allow you to automate steps inside a project. You can build your entire business process or workflow in Agiled to automate it. Once you build a Workflow and apply it to a Project, you can take the back seat while Agiled does all the heavy lifting for you.

Let’s say you follow the same steps when you onboard a new client or take on a new project. You can create a customized workflow and provide Agiled instructions to execute all the steps automatically on your behalf.

You only have to create a Workflow once, and you can apply it to as many Projects as you want.

You can add a series of Actions you want to take in a Workflow. These Actions are executed when certain conditions are fulfilled. These conditions are called Triggers.

Actions are the steps you want Agiled to take on your behalf in a project, while Triggers are the conditions that must be met for an Action to execute.

In Simple terms, Workflow can help you replicate your business process inside Agiled.

How many Workflows can I create?

You can create as many workflows as you want as long as they are covered in your billing plan.

Can I apply a Workflow to only one Project?

No, you only have to create a workflow once. After that, you can apply this workflow to as many projects as you want.

When I create a Workflow, does it mean it is up and running?

No, workflow is only a series of instructions ( Actions and Triggers). You have to apply a Workflow to a project to make it up and running.

Workflows stay inactive unless you apply them to a project.
